Yes. You can direct your donation to a designated fund in each area. If making a gift online you can use the form’s drop down menu to choose from the designation options. If you are calling, simply indicate how you would like your gift to be directed. If you are mailing your gift, please indicate on the cheque or include a note specifying how you would like it to be designated.

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt for one-time donations of $20 or more.

No. This information is kept strictly confidential unless the donor instructs otherwise.

Yes. When a donation is made, we send a card to the family or individual being honoured, acknowledging your generous contribution. We will ask you to provide the name and mailing address of the person/family you would like the card sent to. It is important to note that the Foundation does not have access to the Riverview Health Centre’s records.

Your tax receipt for the current tax year will be sent in January of the following year. You will receive your tax receipt via mail by the end of January.

The Foundation is responsible for raising funds to improve the everyday lives of the patients, residents, and clients of Riverview Health Centre.

You can simply download a copy of our sample will clauses from our Planned Giving page and bring it with you when meeting with your estate planning professional.
