Movie Night Under the Stars

Presented by Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg

Event Details

After a rain delay, Movie Night Under the Stars was worth the wait!

More than 300 people joined us on the Riverview grounds, including residents from the Centre, for an evening of family activities, games, snacks, and Pixar’s Up on the big screen. Kids did cartwheels across the grass, families settled in with blankets and lawn chairs, and neighbours and friends gathered for a beautiful evening together.

And since the clouds cleared earlier in the day, we were truly treated to a night under the stars. Thank you to our sponsors and to everyone who joined us to make our first Movie Night a success!

Parking & Getting Around

Parking Lot

Free parking is available in Riverview’s rear parking lot, but space is limited. The lot opens at 6:20 p.m. and can be accessed via Churchill Drive behind Riverview Health Centre.

Street Parking

Nearby street parking restrictions have been temporarily lifted for the event. Please keep driveways, fire hydrants, and access routes clear.

Restricted Parking Areas

No parking is permitted on Riverview’s internal access roads. These roads must remain clear for emergency vehicles and city buses. Vehicles parked there will be towed.

Make a trolley ride part of your evening!

A Winnipeg Transit bus will be shuttling guests to designated stops, including between the parking area and event field, so if you need a lift before or after the movie, just hop on board. See map below for stops!

Join us. Make an impact.
