Admissions to 3 East
All patients admitted to 3 East must first be registered with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Palliative Care Program. Physicians may refer their patients to the Palliative Care Program for assessment and registration. Admissions to 3E are co-ordinated through the Palliative Care Co-ordinators or the Palliative Care Physician (after regular business hours). Once a patient's symptoms have been managed, discharge home or to a hospice or personal care home may be appropriate.
